傳統布袋戲搭橋共譜臺美青年文化交流

宜蘭縣政府今日在國立傳統藝術中心舉辦「2024-2025宜蘭縣文化交流之家」相見歡，邀請16位美國傅爾布萊特青年獎學金學人（ETA）與16個宜蘭接待家庭見面，正式展開為期一年的臺美文化交流。

The Yilan County Government hosted the "2024-2025 Yilan County Cultural Exchange Homecoming Tea Party" on September 7 at the National Center for Traditional Arts, inviting 16 American Fulbright English Teaching Assistants (ETA) to meet with 16 host families from Yilan, officially launching a year-long Taiwan-U.S. cultural exchange.

宜蘭縣長林姿妙表示，這項合作引進ETA進行協同教學，並透過接待家庭的安排，讓ETA深入體驗臺灣及宜蘭的文化，增進雙方的情感交流。活動結合了傳統布袋戲體驗，讓外籍青年通過戲偶彩繪與戲台表演，認識臺灣的傳統藝術之美。

Yilan County Magistrate Lin Zimiao stated that this collaboration introduced ETAs for co-teaching, and through the arrangements of the host families, the ETAs can deeply experience the culture of Taiwan and Yilan, enhancing emotional connections between both sides. The event included a traditional puppet show experience, where the foreign youth participated in puppet painting and stage performances, gaining an appreciation for Taiwan's traditional arts.

縣府為增進ETA對蘭陽平原的了解，特別準備了印有英語版景點地圖的T恤作為紀念品，學術交流基金會則贈送由ETA編寫的英語繪本與桌遊給接待家庭。活動不僅促進了英語教育，還透過文化交流拓展了宜蘭縣的國際視野，展現了宜蘭的人情味與文化魅力。

To further the ETAs' understanding of the Lanyang Plain, the county government prepared T-shirts printed with English versions of local attraction maps as souvenirs. The Fulbright Foundation also gifted English picture books and board games created by the ETAs to the host families. This event not only promoted English education but also expanded Yilan County’s international perspective through cultural exchange, showcasing Yilan's hospitality and cultural charm
